Tia Stephanie Tours – African Descendants of Mexico –  Stephanie Schneiderman has organized and led all-inclusive group tours focusing on the Afro-Mexican experience.  Her website outlines the impressive itinerary of the tours as well as dates for upcoming trips.

The Pacific Coast of Oaxaca,  – A very good travel site with detailed information about the Oaxaca Coast, focusing on tourist attractions, beaches, and indigenous communities.

Mexico Connect – Incisive magazine-format travel guide with monthly features on cultural and natural attractions, a photo gallery, travelogues, and travel resources. Includes articles written by American travelers in Mexico.

Blogs

Israel Larrea’s Africa A.C. Blog – In Spanish.  The longest-running Afro-Mexico blog, Israel includes full coverage of news events and cultural events in the Costa Chica.  Israel is based in Morelos, Oaxaca (Costa Chica) and has been an active advocate for Afro-Mexican cultural recognition for many years.
